Located on 100 acres of forest 40 minutes east of Ottawa, Beantown Receptions looks like a rustic wedding venue right off of a Pinterest Page!

With over 1000 weddings to date, it’s easy to see why they have a 5 star review on Wedding Wire. Beantown has also been featured in Ottawa Wedding Magazine, as well as Wedding Bells Magazine, and they were winners for Best Wedding Reception Venue Beyond Ottawa in 2020 and 2016, at The Wedding Awards in Ottawa.

As wedding photographers in Ottawa, and a preferred Beantown vendor, we have shot many weddings here, and we are always amazed at how many different photo locations are available on the property. We are obsessed at making your photos easy and memorable. We know all the best spots, best times and we have been there every season.

From the covered bridge, to the various swings and beautiful forest locations, the variety is endless, and left only to the imagination of your photographer.

Choose your ceremony location

With several areas to hold your ceremony to suit your personal taste, you will also be able to say your “I do’s” regardless of the season or the weather.

The Chapel, complete with fireplace, blanket box and licensed bar is perfect if you prefer an indoor wedding. Especially during the winter months.

The Pavillion is an indoor, 2-story, barn style structure with open doors and windows to give you best of both worlds.

The Maple Aisle is lined with maple trees and a decorative arch in front of a serene pond and an aisle lined with maple trees displaying the best of the seasons for a full outdoor experience.

And what better way to seal the ceremony than a horse drawn carriage ride, complete with champagne to toast your guests.

Horse drawn wagons are also available to transport your guests around the property.

Anjou Hall

Anjou hall is where all the action of the evening takes place. A floor to ceiling fireplace is the backdrop for your head table, and the unique and exquisite menu of Chef Paul Silk can serve up to 150 dinner guests. Anjou hall also has a bridal room for pre-ceremony preparation and changing to evening wear if you so choose.

Accomodations

The Cottage, located on the property is the perfect overnight stay for the newlyweds. And with Chez Glen, Chez Max, and Chez Suzie located nearby – (some included with your package), your guests will not have far to travel after your big day. Beantown even offers a shuttle service to ensure your overnight guests arrive safely.

Yes, they have fireworks

End your day with your guests standing around a bon fire watching the new couple share a spectacular first dance on an island under fireworks.

Beyond the spectacular manicured grounds, amazing photography backdrops and fairytale atmosphere, is the most incredible service you can imagine. Along with helping you plan your entire experience, your event coordinator will be with you the entire day, with the rest of the team working behind the scenes to keep things running seamlessly.
